Xbox X And Playstation 5 Spec and Wear down Comparison, Minecraft RTX and changes in gaming

Xbox Series X

.I have been seeing these two consoles being previewed for a while now. There were a couple of specs, more related internally than just the basic exterior of the items which can throw off many consumers’ interests. Although these two devices are only going to release later in the year.

Xbox Series X

I’m more familiar with Xbox although I’m not necessarily a loyal user. Well and since many are saying the main themes of this console are Minecraft RTX I’m already hooked regardless. Some light on Ray tracing for Gears 5 has been rising as well but it’s not as significant. although many have been speculating some issues, lets still look into it regardless.

GPU And CPU Performance For New Games

The PS5 does a similar practice, generally with the purpose of attempting to outperform popular GPU brands like NVIDIA with custom RDNA 2 graphics, but what we have is still similar to the Xbox Series X. A sequel most people found to be most hyped for is God Of War 2 for PS5 although I want Spider-Man 2 as it would be something I would be more familiar with. But to backtrack just a bit, Speed and processing were the second biggest improvement. PlayStation users said they want on PS5.

The PS5 possesses 8 custom Zen 2 Cores that go to 3.5GHz. This was in which Zen 2 was covered up more at Computex last year. This was although the speed of this is 0.3 GHz slower than the Series X. Although we are still under the concern of speed, it still has more transistors than the PS4 making rendering load times and downloads smoother, and less likely to crash. For Xbox, I feel like this would be less of a concern as the Xbox One CPU already has a high frequency so not much concern in that area.

Minecraft Ray tracing

This is a popular topic for both consoles even if you aren’t looking into buying either. You have probably been hearing a lot about this regardless. The GPU on the Series X already has double the number of teraflops as the Xbox One, and with Hardware decompression, more info further in, this will put less strain on the FPS and image quality of the console.

Less information about Minecraft RTX is portrayed in the PS5. But we do know that Xbox currently owns Bedrock Minecraft. So we could possibly have a later release within a couple of months or a year.  But when it is out we can expect a very light looking image with the game rendering with all the other physical expectations of RTX in general.

SSD And Storage Work

One factor that some people may find interesting for the future, is Velocity Architecture. Especially for ray-tracing invested users. For the series X, which is a concept that would be expected but again, unique every time. Simply, this CPU uses Hardware decompression. This will allow programs to eat the littlest amount of SSD space as possible while preventing the CPU from almost overworking it. Both parties get benefited with better framerates. This is genius for long term use on all day streams or long term gameplay. Similar consoles have done similar practices. Nvidia does this with CUDA architecture, and as a promising ray-tracing console, obviously, Xbox X will continue this practice in the following.

Physicality of The Machines

Physically, I like the shape of both gaming systems and their consoles. Although I prefer the Series X more as it gives off PC vibes. Especially since they made an additional update to the PS5 console design it personally seems more off-putting, and many other people can agree with that. The PS5 is more of a console you put in your shelf, while the Series X gives off more PC Build setup vibes.

Extra Storage Info

Xbox Series X SSD is approximately a terabyte. It also has a 2.4 gigabyte per second rate. Although this multiplies by 2 through the hardware decompression process mentioned earlier. With this comes an expandable storage expansion chip. This adds anywhere from a couple more gigabytes to a terabyte of expandable storage. This will immediately recognize internal storage and pair it with it. That’s the best way I could explain it. This can store more game data to the SSD, or the expansion drive. On the PlayStation side of there SSD, they will offer PlayStation users a game with no loading screen. This is because it is spending 66% of the time finding data more than officially loading the game. 1/3 of the time officially loading the game.

What we can know

Obviously, When a new console is out it will change the culture of the users and the gaming experience for some users. But with the promises we see so far, I hope we can resolve some issues from the previous consoles.
