Things To Have Knowledge Of Before Upgrading To IOS 12

IOS 12 is going to be released. There are some things that aren’t very necessary and some updates that are quite huge. But this depends on how you use your iPhone with your current IOS installed on it. For example, the new AR camera called the ARKit 2 that produces quite good effects is quite useful. If you film on your Apple device a lot. Especially for IPads as well, it sort of breaks the stereotype as recording with an iPad is difficult but now it seems as if it’s not so much like that with this new IOS. But we’re just slightly scratching the surface.

It honestly seems like Apple tried to add just one more thing to their specifications list for IOS 12. Speed is an ingrained stereotype for Apple users and any phone user as it is known to already be super fast, especially with IOS 11.4, why would apple even bother? But, I did notice some aspects when it came to improvement at least just a little bit. I guess a 70% faster swipe to the camera It means faster time to record the “best moments”

There are now more advanced mobile google searches as keyboard loading speed is enhanced by half as well. Although I use an Android operating system I give Apple an applause for giving some light on extra speed to the keyboard since for me, it would oddly take 2 to 3 seconds for the keyboard to fully load and process the typing. From an Android user, Apple probably believes there maybe isn’t much to do since their phones are lightning fast. If you are an android user this problem may have been solved for you.

There are two perspectives that you can have while knowing that you can facetime up to 32 people at once. 1: this is pretty unique for on the go group conversations. Already is it cool enough we can talk to one person on the go via cell phone. But I don’t want to sound like I just discovered technology. If you facetime 32 people at once it now sparks a new era of having a clear group discussion just on your phone. 2: If you are video chatting that amount of people there won’t it get confusing over time? Wouldn’t it be a hassle trying to get everyone at once on the video chat?

Depending on who you are the new Animoji customization can funny enough be a cool deal or small thing. It’s not really a huge thing since it’s just a small animated icon that sits on your phone. Something that would be cool is if apple paired with Snapchat or any other social company that makes cameras and creates an Animoji icon for Snapchat. That definitely would be quite cool in my opinion.

If you take photos a lot on their phone, IOS 12 lets you search for descriptions of images to find a specific photo. I can only see this turning out to work successfully by around 60%. Because most searching software I’ve used isn’t very specific, and you’ll never know if this will be the same. The concept of this sounds great but it’s something you can think about. But as Apple get’s more advanced the results can speak themselves.

I could mostly say that IOS 12 will be a pretty great software update for Apple devices. Ignoring the cons I would give this software update a 4.6 /5 stars. If I were an Apple user I would upgrade, but for an android user, I wouldn’t switch to Apple though.

Comparison wise, if you have an iPhone 7 – iPhone X I can only think that the quality will be astonishing, compared to an iPhone 5S – iPhone 6 it would not be as good but better. But we’ll just have to see what we’ll get.

In Conclusion

It seems like IOS 12 will have some necessary things and some unnecessary things. But at the end, it all just depends how you use the update. But in conclusion, even for an android user, I would say again for IOS 12 to be a 4.6 / 5 stars.
