CES Overview: My Favorite Computer And Headphones I Liked And Why

CES

CES is an event many of us enjoy we get to see a lot of new technology at the event which is why I picked two categories of tech, headphones, and computers and I have a list of my favorite headphones and computers at CES this year

CES

These years CES was a great one. There are and were many great things CES can provide for us from everyday technology we use to revolutionary machines to be used in the future workforce. This is why I wanted to share some of my favorite Laptops and headphones that were featured in this years CES, to specifically break down the pros and cons of the devices that were featured in the CES event

Notable Headphones At CES

Many of us tend to obsess over headphones, especially if they are Bluetooth and especially if they are earbuds and we go to air pods. In my opinion air pods are just unnecessary and overrated. Anyone can pick up a pair of wireless earbuds and other similar wear for a cheaper price. For example, I recently got a new pair of LG triumph Bluetooth wireless headphones. They are simple, but since they have wires they can be a hassle to set up but mostly they can do is save your wallet

But there are completely wireless pairs that do fairly substitute air pods that make airpods look like a wallet sucker. But as many of us have seen with airpods you do have more features like sharing music, but this is basic. I don’t want expensive earbuds that are overrated and make you say “I don’t speak broke my friend” I want earphones that are expensive but you can use them on any branded device but not one brand of device.

Elite 85 Headphones At CES

I noticed at this years CES that the Elite 85 Headphones are generally popular. One of the big things I found about this pair of headphones is the 32-hour battery life. This is why I mentioned my pair of LG headphones previously because these headphones have 3 battery stages. When you turn on the headphones it will either as “Battery high,” “Battery median,” or “Battery low”

I don’t find this as a surprise too much knowing that this is and was very popular since it only 48 hours I realized that my LG headphones would say battery median and I use these headphones all the time. The Elite 85 headphones have an app that gives more accessibility to the Bluetooth headphones which in my opinion is the most interesting thing I could find about these headphones

The one thing people want within a pair of headphones is the clear audio and completely filtered out background sound. This one of the biggest raves I have found about these headphones within the CES event. So one of the big things about these headphones is background noise canceling and music tuning

One of the cool things within the app, in my opinion, is the music presets. The headphones have options to where you can specifically alter the music beats so it can match the music or audio you are listening to. There is the default mode, bass mode, smooth, energize and speech. The cool thing I like about this is because when I listen to music in other headphones on applications like Spotify the music may sound very low quality a bit. With the altering options, this is cool because it makes the music sound more enthusiastic

Audio-Technica ATH-M50XBT

This is another pair of headphones with a ridiculously complicated name and it is manufactured from a company called Audio Technica. These headphones are smaller than the popular Elite 85 headphones and have a more 2019 look to them

The Audio-Technica headphones have exactly 8 more hours of battery life in comparison to the Elite 85 headphones which we covered just now. These headphones can be 99 decibels loud if we are measuring sensitivity which is 21 decibels short of it being simulated to being at a music concert. So generally it is loud. But knowing about the specs of the main function of the headphones it doesn’t seem very necessary to include the noise cancellation within the headphones

The resistance level for these headphones is 38 ohms which are regular for the electrical impedance in these headphones knowing it uses Claid coil aluminum wires and a rare earth magnet. The charging time for these headphones is estimated to be 6 – 7 hours with an uninterrupted charge. Most companies that may use different material within there wires may have shorter or longer charges which is what many tend to notice with there regular headphones. So if you are mainly considered with the battery you could if you would like to look more into this if you would like.

But overall these are probably my favorite computers because they are like the popular Elite 85 headphones but they are more regular in a way

My Computer Pick At CES

Last year at CES I saw a computer from Huawei called Project Linda, a gaming computer which uses a Huawei smartphone as the main computer trackpad. I found this really cool since it is one of the first signs of further development within the gaming community of computer usage. But we are just looking at last year and it bothers the question of what more progress has been made currently latching off of this. I won’t be able to cover everything so I will be covering up the main points that are my favorite in my opinion.

Alienware Gaming: Area 51-m

Alienware, in my opinion, is my favorite gaming computer brand mostly because it is marketed the most for having the best qualities but you instantly can’t pick a computer just knowing that. Knowing that this is a professional gaming computer the Intel processing goes to the highest it can go which is the 9th generation. I9 specifically. This doesn’t come to me as a surprise since I have observed gaming on the Surface in which the graphics are slightly similar but knowing about the additional advancements on Area 51-m computer hyping the gaming experience *to which we will talk about in the next section* we notice the similarities and differences very easily.

But having obtained our current knowledge on the Intel core processors of the Area 51-m computer there are many more to which you can customize your price to be. the lowest generation being I7. In my opinion, there is no huge analysis on which either you pick. It’s more of a costly matter than quality matter. But if you are doing well-maintained gameplay I would suggest using i9.

The networking specifications are an important thing I probably should mention because depending on your location this will vary. You have a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet by Realtek, NIC
Killer Wireless 1550 2×2 AC. For this, you won’t have to worry too much about since it is a minor specification. But I think it is important because depending on your region the internet may distort it or make it be normal.

Within your package of actually getting the Area 51-m, you will have a “Video Card”  specifically in association with the GeForce GTX 1070 which in short terms means it will automatically update to the latest software graphics when it is shipped to your location.

The most important aspect of the Area 51-m computer are the keyboards, which truly define your gaming experience at least in my opinion. The keyboard is virtually the same for every plan that you get, specifically called the Alienware TactX keyboard. It is very similar to the Razer Huntman Elite keyboard especially since they both have programmable keys. There are many twitch streamers who use Alienware products in their gameplay and even the Area 51-m is used in streaming. Because of what we’ve all have seen I would overall deem the Area 51-m “streaming only” computer.

Conclusion For CES

CES was a very fun event that happened a week ago prior to the date this review was published. We see hear that even from big to small from fewer features or more features, CES will just keep on getting better year by year. I hope everyone who went to the event had a nice CES and hope you will have a great time next year at CES
