An Overview Of My Thoughts On The The Apple Event

Apple Event

A couple of days ago the Apple Event recently happened and many new tech products were introduced to us. Here I want to share my thoughts on the Apple Event and what has happened

Apple Event

If you are an Android user, with frequent phone upgrades or research we can agree to disagree when it comes to foreign influence on the iPhone 11, and the relevant software the Apple Event portrays to its community. This year’s Apple Event, in my opinion, was a big one. Especially regarding the idea of the A13 Bionic CPU. The dual camera influence, pretty much a whole new NetFlix on the Apple TV. I think Apple found a good balance with new necessities which would be good for the productivity of people and for the companies own marketing statistics.

Apple Arcade

Let’s talk about Apple Arcade. If I was to make a primary assumption onto why Apple would want this integrated would be for to be more interactive with custom-developed games. A software strategy we don’t see in many phones or just simply add on to third party games like the Game pigeon. This can provide a multiplayer game store with more attention to detail graphics which can one-up it in a sense. But regardless it packs together many different game developers into one community to make something nice for Apple users. I wish Android could also have more 1st party community interaction like what Apple is doing in this instance.

I appreciate the passion for gaming innovation but the adaptability of the design still is traditional. I’ve mentioned how the Project Linda phone is pretty much more of a gaming console rather or more than a regular smartphone. In some other devices, roles can be reversed if we are still in the same context.

This same idea can be partially applied to other Razer phones. But since the X, Apple still kept the traditional front design they want to make it still feel as if you were playing a third party application. Apple hasn’t mentioned much to anything about an adaptable design that would correlate with the Arcade. They overall kept it in a traditional matter but if we look at computer adaptability on iPadOS we’ll see very obvious distinctions. This will be mentioned further in.

Apple Event: The 11 Series

So as many of you saw, the iPhone 11 has a dual-camera system, of two cameras and the Pro Max has three. Everyone is talking about this. For the most part, this is a 12MP camera that is supposed to focus better. This would be faster specifically in a lot of lower lights. In some camera companies, they are working so that the lenses are less breakable over time hopefully we can see an improvement with this like with a more durable lens

The same idea applies to the Pro just more significant. This is also a pretty frequent problem I noticed in other smartphones. But it has been at least partially acknowledged like with Google Pixels ‘Night Sight’ feature. This has been claimed to focus better in low light environments like woods or forests and it looks to be proven effective. Dual camera work has been going for a while but each company has there owned good reason to why they would use it. There are many emulators you can try out which you can see the low-light comparison.

The camera, in general, seems pretty normal for a dual camera since it least has its own unique features and it’s not there for the culture sake. Which is good for the companies marketing strategies and camera buff’s looking for something new at least. Another thing that took me by surprise or is at least slightly interesting is the speakers which use Dolby Atmos. This contributes to the sound system that goes all around the phone and not through one specific speaker. In which pretty much just gets rid of holding the speaker to your ear or mouth. The 11.6 Liquid Retina display combines with this and we get a similar experience. Like what we have with the Note 10.

A13 Bionic Processor Contributions

Once Apple announced the iPhone11 series the A13 Bionic CPU was a quick follow-up. Since it is known there is only so much about it. We do know there is a 40% reduction in power compared to the A12. This was released a year ago and can now go up to a trillion operations in a second. This is a 7nm CPU which is around the same as the Radeon Gold Series GPU, which I mentioned in the past. This CPU specification wise would be the same if not a little bit better than a Ryzen 5 2600 AMD

Apple Watch Series 5

To start simple, something I like about the Series 5 would have to be the rope-like design on the wrist part of the watch. Every year they would have to come with a new design so we probably shouldn’t be too surprised but I like how it gets more old fashioned but higher-tech looking at the same time

Apple has been more creative when it comes to design factors. They’ve integrated 6 different ways the watch can tell time or at least designs to make it look more unique. Also, like every time a new Apple Watch gets released a better tracking system of monitoring your heart will always take place. It’s almost a heart monitor for your phone. Also, there is a hearing monitor telling you how safe you should be when it comes to volume. There is a similar system on the Samsung j7’s headphone system which has a rate on the volume bar telling you what volume to tone it down but it doesn’t measure in hearing decibels like the series 5 watch. Other phones have a similar or the same system to this.

Apple Event: iPadOS

This is a software that will be coming out in four days on the 24th. This is something that takes me by shock as we don’t see a lot of significant work with iPad software. If anything it’s just by regular IOS updates that would go with the iPad. This software does very traditional work of converting a tablet into a computer emulator. Plus it looks promising from the Apple Event but we can’t always go off the cover of a book

It seems less convincing since they claim its generally faster than IOS12. This is with no regard to the new IOS 13 software. Tim Cook did mention in the Apple Event on significantly faster download speeds on the iPadOS. This would be useful especially if you are emulating a computer into a tablet, a surface pro almost. This software is supported for every version down to iPad air 2

Well, since there is so much we can’t talk about everything specifically. But overall this year’s Apple event wasn’t that bad, it was perfect timing for releasing the new iPhone series. But I guess we all have our own opinions [star rating=”4″]
