Whats your opinion on overclocking? I’ve always kinda thought it was a bit too much strain on components for a small-ish gain in performance. Which is why I don’t know much about it so i cant help too much in that department aha

i overclocked my now sold a10 6800k to 4.7GHz, may i say the performance gain was large compared to stock clocks. I couldnt push it any further, after i sold it now i realized that in order to push any further, i’d need to fiddle with northbridge voltage. As long as you have the right hardware for it and don’t shove too many volts into it it’s safe, there’s obviously gonna be lifespan loss but it’s very very minimal, and with things like GPUs it’s so easy to do it’s almost a sin if you don’t UV or OC your components lol
