What We Know About The Samsung S20 Series Phones So Far

S20

The new S20 series in Samsung has just been announced with the first press conference in Korea, and they have renovated the flip phone aesthetic for the good of improving other core features of the new device. At this point creating a custom Bluetooth headset in mobile companies is a simple marketing trend, more for the idea of enhancing the experience for the user.

S20

This device is going to be released on March 6, but there is a chance of hidden leaks that we will have to find out now or later since Android is known for Easter Eggs. This is especially under Samsung. One of the easy ones you can find is going to software info than clicking the Android version title a couple of times, then the Easter egg will appear saying “This is the easter egg.” Not as exciting as the past ones as they had which may provide future references for whatever and mini-games. I only assume this is for performance sake, marketing deadlines or anything similar in between

Physical Size And Processing Statistics

The S20 is approximately an inch higher than their previous S9 and or S8 counterparts. It is 6.2 for S20 5G, 6.7 for S20+ 5G and around approximately 7′ for Ultra S20 5G. This jump is bigger than what we see with the iPhone 10 and 11. This doesn’t bother me a lot if not at all unless it becomes inconvenient to carry in common aspects like holding, or putting in a pocket. It’s a basic statement but important nonetheless.

From my point of view at least, if you haven’t upgraded your phone in over 4 years it only shocks me a bit how all phones in the S20 series are using Snapdragon 865. Hopefully, we will be seeing an upgrade sometime next year or in two years for Snapdragon to release 875 or anything like that. With this comes memory which is 12G on all devices except the Ultra obviously which is 16G. For the regular S20, you can get storage for 128GB and then jumps to 512GB for the other two versions. But all this aside if you really have trouble with this you can equally expand all their storage to a terabyte. This is since media is being taken at a faster rate on Samsung/Android devices than ever before. This is also knowing there past and now fixed reputation.

Interesting Carrier Deals

What I found interesting about the S20 is the lack of support for Verizon. This is while also all carriers are still $400 equally. This is especially with known limitations one carrier may have over the other. Other obvious comparisons could be pointed out as well. As a loyal Android user, this doesn’t phase me too much as you can get 4 months of ad-free YouTube for $47.96 and a 6 month free Spotify Premium trial which although as a biased music listener, I am very grateful for.

Although Sprint is not my main carrier you can get 5g for $0.00 a month. Although as you may upgrade your service quality the prices will logically get higher. I will take a good deal over a high price in a good amount of these types of scenarios. $689.99 in comparison to the other carriers $300.00 less. This also applies to the upgrades of your phone to S20+ and going further on with the plan. But to be real, another really cool thing about this is free shipping.

Camera Comparisons

I definitely like this camera in the sense to it distorts the original quality purpose of the camera. It turns it into a camera good for perspective motion filming. Really good perhaps in this context. This one of the fewest 8k cameras the average person can get on the market. Especially considering the fact it’s 4 and 16 times bigger than UHD and HD. Which I feel goes more into depth than the previous Huawei 50x zoom which is now irrelevant in terms of American consumerism

But for the vibes I get from the camera it feels very in place. It secures eyeballing video footage alone. This makes it feel a lot like a POV video, but again you can always alter with the filters and camera setups to make your experience more flexible. It definitely feels more contrasted comparing to the iPhone 11 camera.

The camera feels more apple influenced but for the most part. But it definitely is just a simple upgrade from the previous phones. I’m not sure why they make it into 1 big 108mp sensor instead of just dividing it traditionally. How so? With the 12MP sensors on each camera part for example on the S9. I think everything aside I can see a good future with consumerism use with this device.  In the end, I guess it just what suits your personality
